This year's conference will be held near the majestic bluffs of the Mississippi River in Onalaska, WI. The agenda will benefit both the continuing citizen monitor as well as those looking to get started. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn what monitoring efforts are currently going on around the state as well as ways to improve the effectiveness of their current efforts. Highlighted topics will include how to develop partnerships with individual volunteers, establishing protocols and standards, how to communicate project findings to the media, and an opportunity to interact on a one-on-one basis with a taxa specialist.
