Citizen-Based Monitoring Partnership Program

The purpose of the Citizen-based Monitoring Partnership Program is to provide funding and support to initiate or expand citizen-based monitoring programs involved in the monitoring of aquatic and terrestrial plants, animals and their habitats. Up to $100,000 is available for the 2009 state fiscal year funding period. For additional information, please refer to the Application Guidelines.

The deadline for 2008-09 partnership program proposals was May 16th

Organizations are strongly encouraged to refer to the following documents when developing project ideas:

WDNR Water Monitoring Strategy
Forest Certification
Property Master Planning

In addition, WDNR staff has suggested some Priorities for Citizen Involvement which may help provide ideas for possible proposals.
