WISCONSIN'S CITIZEN-BASED MONITORING
2011-12 PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM ANNOUNCEMENT

Since 2004, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and Wisconsin's "Citizen-Based Monitoring Partnership Program" have sought to expand citizen and volunteer participation in natural resource monitoring by providing funding and assistance with high priority projects. Qualifying topics include monitoring of aquatic and terrestrial species, natural communities, and environmental components such as water, soil and air. $75,000 of Partnership Program funding is available for the 2012 fiscal year (July 1, 2011 to June 30, 2012). Funding proposals are limited to $4,999.

Proposals were due on August 8, 2011, and award notifications made by August 15, 2011. Funding for successful projects will be available until June 20, 2012. For additional information, please refer to the Application Guidelines.
