WISCONSIN'S CITIZEN-BASED MONITORING
2010-11 PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM ANNOUNCEMENT

Since 2004, Wisconsin's "Citizen-Based Monitoring Partnership Program" has sought to expand citizen participation in natural resource monitoring in Wisconsin by providing funding and assistance to high priority projects. Qualifying topics include monitoring of aquatic and terrestrial species, natural communities and environmental components such as water, soils and air. $100,000 is available for the 2011 fiscal year which runs from July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011. Funding requests are limited to $4,999 per proposal. Proposals were due March 31, 2010 and funding for successful projects will be available beginning July 1, 2010.
